Today we’re going to Amoeba in San Francisco, It’s gonna be lots of fun. Taking the pretty 101 coastal route, listening to Stephen Malkmus and The Jicks, and eating funky burritos.  Saw 5-Track today in Echo Park, for those who don’t know 5-Track is a terrific guitar player currently living in Los Angeles, who plays in many bands, one of which is Amanda Jo Williams, so check them out live and see him tear it up and say a lot.

Hey everybody!
Our first ever album comes out in 4 days, on Tuesday the 27th!!!!1!!!! Infinite thanks to Aaron Embry, Sub Pop Records, and everyone else who have made this possible, the list is super massive so I’ll type that up soon when I have some time.

Right now, we have very little time. Busy bees. We’ve been waiting a long time for this dream to come true, and we’ll be celebrating it hard with record store shows up and down the California coast, first at our hometown favorite Fingerprints in Long Beach on the 26th, Boo Boo Records in San Luis Obispo on the 27th, Amoeba Records in San Francisco on the 28th, Jensen’s in Santa Barbara on the 29th, the 30th back home playing a session at the legendary KXLU in Los Angeles, and on May 1st our sweetness release show at The Troubadour in Los Angeles with Habonim Dror hero Jesse Rifkin’s The Wailing Wall all the way from Brooklyn and Los Angeles’ own VoicesVoices.

It happens on every tour.  But this tour has had lots of throw up, since Sheridan’s flu virus hit.

Pray for me you guys.  I feel like I may be getting sick, because I can feel my lungs filled with some mucus.

Devin, Arin and I went to the Saint Luis arch today.  You get into this capsule pod thing and go up tons of flghts, into the arch.  Congratulations to Sheridan. She kicked the flu in a couple of days.

We’ve been staying at Arin’s Grandpa & Mimi’s house for i think 4 nights now.  You can totally tell that it’s a cute grandma house because there’s a knit mouse in a bonnet and dress.  white and pink.  I sleep in the cottage themed bedroom.  Thanks Barb & Bill. for everything

hey, some bummer news, because of the blizzard on the east coast we’re having to cancel our set in boston at the paradise club. Rogue Wave will still be playing with a local opener.

Really sorry to everyone who wanted to see us there! but the 2nd we’re at music hall of williamsburg in new york, and the next day at bowery ballroom. they’ll be spectacular shows. in the mean…time, i just recorded a 30 second whatever on this tape machine, and here it is!
